1. Fill in your details

That doesn't look like a web address — check your menu link. The web address of your existing menu, ordering page or menu PDF. No https:// needed — we'll add it.

Unlocked with any BuildMeA package. Tap any locked option below to find out more. The QR code always stays high-contrast black so it scans every time.

2. Print it or save the tent

The tent prints on a full A4 sheet — fold along the middle guide and it stands up on the table. Choose "Flat card" above for a single-sided version.

Who this is for

Any café, pub, bar, restaurant, takeaway or coffee van that already has a menu online — a page on your website, an ordering platform, or even a menu PDF — and wants diners to reach it in one tap from the table. Print a folded tent, drop one on each table, and every seat becomes a link to your full menu, specials and dietary info without reprinting laminated cards every time a price changes.

How do I make a QR code menu for my café?

You need two things: somewhere your menu already lives online, and a QR code that points to it. Paste your menu link above, add your venue name and a couple of featured items, and this tool generates the QR and lays it out on a printable table tent. The QR encodes your exact web address, so scanning it opens your menu straight away — no third-party app, no monthly fee, and nothing to set up. Print, fold, done.

Do QR menus still work — are they worth it?

They earned a bad name during lockdown when they replaced menus entirely and diners were left squinting at a slow, pinch-to-zoom PDF. Used well, they're genuinely useful: a QR alongside (not instead of) a physical menu is perfect for specials, allergen details, drinks lists and letting people order a second round without flagging down staff. The catch is what sits behind the code. If it opens a clunky PDF or a page that isn't built for phones, you'll lose them. If you'd like the destination to be a fast, mobile-friendly menu or order-and-pay page that actually converts browsers into orders, we can build you one — the QR here will point to it happily.

What should a table talker say?

Keep it to one clear instruction and one reason to scan. "Scan for tonight's full menu" or "Scan to order & pay from your table" beats a wall of text — people decide in a second. Add two or three featured items with prices to give the code a job worth doing (a signature dish, the dessert you want to sell, tonight's special). Big code, short line, a splash of your colour. That's it.

Does this tool store my details?

No. Everything — the QR, the tent design and the PNG — is built entirely in your browser. Your menu link, venue name and item prices are never uploaded, saved or sent anywhere, so you can make and print as many tents as you like.

Please note: this tool gives a guide or estimate only. It may not be 100% accurate and is not professional advice — always check the figures before you rely on them. Your menu link, venue name and item prices stay in your browser — nothing you type here is uploaded or stored by us.
