Who this is for

Any UK business that wants more Google reviews without the awkward nagging — trades, salons, cafés, shops, garages, gyms, clinics. If you've always meant to "sort out getting reviews" and never quite got round to it, this turns it into a two-minute job: paste your link, print the poster, put it where customers can see it.

Where do I find my Google review link?

  1. Search for your own business on Google (or open the Google Maps app).
  2. Sign in to the Google account that manages your Business Profile.
  3. In your profile panel, tap "Ask for reviews" (sometimes under "Share profile").
  4. Google gives you a short link like g.page/r/…/review — copy it and paste it above.

Any link works — the short g.page one just makes a cleaner, easier-to-scan QR code.

Where should I put the poster?

Wherever the happy moment happens. For shops, salons and cafés: by the till, on the mirror, on the door. For trades: laminate one for the van, add the QR to your invoice footer, or show the customer your phone at handover — "would you mind scanning this?" Asked in person, most happy customers say yes on the spot.

Tip: the single best time to ask is the moment they say thank you. A QR code removes every excuse — no searching, no typing your business name, straight to the review box.

Am I allowed to ask for reviews?

Yes. Google actively encourages businesses to ask customers for reviews. What's not allowed: paying or incentivising for reviews, asking only happy customers while filtering out unhappy ones ("review gating"), or writing them yourself. Ask everyone, honestly, and let the work speak.

Does this tool store my link?

No. Everything happens in your browser — nothing is uploaded, saved or sent anywhere. Print as many as you like.

Want a QR for something other than a review link — your Wi-Fi, a contact card or a plain URL? Try the QR Code Generator. If customers would rather message than scan, the WhatsApp Link & QR Code Maker builds a click-to-chat poster the same way, and the Book Me / Request a Quote Button Maker turns any of these into a copy-paste HTML button for your site or email signature.

Please note: this tool gives a guide or estimate only. It may not be 100% accurate and is not professional advice — always check the figures before you rely on them. Your review link and business name stay in your browser — nothing you type here is uploaded or stored by us.
