Who this is for

Any UK trade or small business that needs one photo to fit lots of places — a job shot for your Google Business Profile, a square for Instagram, a wide banner for Facebook or LinkedIn. Instead of letting each platform auto-crop the head off your best photo, you crop it here, exactly, and see the result before you post. Showing off a finished job rather than a single photo? The Before & After Photo Maker turns two job photos into a branded collage first — resize the result here for any platform.

What size should a Google Business Profile photo be?

Google recommends a minimum of 720 × 720 pixels for profile and cover photos, and 1200 × 900 works well for updates and Google Business posts. Landscape (wider than tall) generally displays best in the profile. Use the "Google Business post — 1200 × 900" or "Google Business square — 720 × 720" preset above and you'll be inside Google's recommended dimensions.

What size is an Instagram post?

A standard Instagram feed post is 1080 × 1080 pixels (a perfect square). Instagram also supports portrait posts and 1080 × 1920 for full-screen Stories and Reels. Start from the square preset for the feed, or the story preset for full-screen — both are one click above.

Will resizing make my photo blurry?

Shrinking a large photo down to a smaller size stays sharp — that's what this tool does most of the time. Blur only creeps in when you enlarge a small image beyond its original pixels: there's no extra detail to invent, so the browser stretches what's there and it goes soft. The fix is to always start from the biggest, highest-quality original you have rather than a small copy you've already downloaded from somewhere.

Tip: shoot and keep your originals large. It's easy to make a big photo smaller for every platform; it's impossible to add detail back into a small one.

Does this tool store my details?

No. Your photo is read straight into your browser, resized on a canvas, and offered back to you as a download — it is never uploaded, saved or sent anywhere. You can resize as many images as you like, and nothing you do here is stored by us.

Please note: this tool gives a guide or estimate only. It may not be 100% accurate and is not professional advice — always check the figures before you rely on them. Your image is processed entirely in your browser — nothing you upload here is sent to us, saved or stored anywhere.
