Who this is for

Any UK shop, café, salon, barber, groomer or takeaway that wants customers coming back without paying for a loyalty app. If you've been meaning to "sort out a stamp card" for months, this makes it a ten-minute job: design it here, print a sheet of ten real credit-card-sized cards on plain A4, cut along the guides, and start stamping.

How many stamps should a loyalty card have?

Whatever total you pick, consider pre-stamping the first one at the point of sale — behavioural economists call this "endowed progress." A 10-stamp card with 1 already stamped feels further along, and gets finished faster, than a 9-stamp card starting from zero — even though the customer pays for the same number of visits either way. Stamp their first one on the spot and hand it over already started.

How do I stop loyalty card fraud?

Initial each stamp yourself, or use a distinctive marker or ink stamp that's hard to replicate at home. In practice: it's coffee, not Fort Knox. The odd customer who fills in extra circles at home costs you far less than the goodwill and repeat business a loyalty scheme earns you. Don't over-engineer the security — just don't make it trivially easy either.

Paper loyalty card or an app?

For small shops, paper usually wins. Zero setup, zero monthly fees, zero friction — the customer doesn't need to download anything, create an account, or remember a password. A card in the wallet is one less barrier between "I like this place" and "I keep coming back." Apps make more sense once you're managing loyalty across many locations or want the customer data — most single-site shops don't need that yet.

Tip: print more than you think you need. Cards get lost, wallets fill up, and a fresh stack behind the counter costs pennies compared to the awkwardness of running out mid-queue.

Does this tool store my details?

No. Everything — the design, the print sheet and the PNG — is built entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, saved or sent anywhere, so you can make and print as many cards as you like.

Please note: this tool gives a guide or estimate only. It may not be 100% accurate and is not professional advice — always check the figures before you rely on them. Your business name and card wording stay in your browser — nothing you type here is uploaded or stored by us.
