Who this is for
Driving instructors, tutors, personal trainers, groomers, course providers, workshop leads — anyone who runs a course, a session or a bit of training and wants to hand the person something that looks properly made when they finish. No design software, no printer's quote: fill in the fields, print on A4, done in the time it takes the kettle to boil.
Can I use my own logo and colours?
Yes — Pro customisation unlocks your own logo, exact brand colours, extended fonts, background images and removes the BuildMeA branding entirely. The free version uses the built-in layouts and preset accent colours, and the printed/exported certificate carries a small BuildMeA credit.
Is a certificate like this "official"?
It certifies whatever you certify — that someone completed your course, attended your session or reached a milestone you set. It isn't an accredited qualification unless you're a recognised accredited training provider, and it shouldn't be presented as one. Used honestly, it's a genuinely nice thing to hand someone at the end of a course.
What size does it print?
A4 landscape, designed to fill a standard sheet of printer paper edge to edge — set your printer to "actual size" or "no scaling" for the cleanest result. You can also save it as a PNG image to send digitally by email or WhatsApp.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The recipient's name and every other detail you type stay in your browser — nothing is uploaded, saved or sent anywhere, so you can make and print as many certificates as you like.
Please note: this tool gives a guide or estimate only. It may not be 100% accurate and is not professional advice — always check the figures before you rely on them. Names, dates and every detail you type stay in your browser — nothing here is uploaded or stored by us.
